Well, you're probably here because the alerting system on Ingress is a bit rubbish. We all know it, but there's not much we can do about it.

Well, actually, there is something. You can use IGA.

IGA allows you to tailor which alerts you receive. If you don't care about that portal 3,000km away which you captured, and which you still keep getting alerts about, filter them out. If you need to know when a portal in your farm is under attack, make an alert group for the whole farm.
